IS THERE A GPS TYPE UNIT THAT CAN SHOW OTHER GPS UNITS ON A MAP IN REAL TIME? IS THAT EVEN POSSIBLE?

i.e.: I am sitting in my automobile with this ‘gps unit’ and am able to see on its map other gps units in the area. (like emergency vehicles, semi trucks, etc.) I dont know if such a thing exists. Would be cool if it does. And I am not speaking about the gps tracking system that trucking companys and such use. This would show (a certain amout?) gps units in a given area, in real time.
