if i dont uncover my phone by tonight my parents are cancelling it!!!! okay so i lost it a week ago, its dead now. i looked all over the place and cant discover it. i heard about gps tracking to find a telephone but need one particular i dont have to download on the phone because i already lost it, and if it would function even although my telephone is dead? i have the lg xenon. PLEASE Support! ten points for 1st particular person to answer with something that finds my phone!!!

Call 911 and have them track it. They’re the only ones with the sophisticated, expensive gear to track it down. But that is not the function of 911.

And the tracking function is only helpful if the telephone is in functioning order AND the privacy selection has not been disabled. When the mobile phone is powered off, there is no way on the face of this Earth to track it.

Contemplate it gone and you really should have canceled its service instantly so the guy who is using it don’t add charges to it.

Is there a gps kind unit that can show other gps units on a map in genuine time? Is that even achievable?
i.e.: I’m sitting in my automobile with this ‘gps unit’ and am ready to see on its map other gps units in the region. (like emergency vehicles, semi trucks, etc.) I dont know if such a thing exists. Would be cool if it does. And I’m not talking about the gps tracking system that trucking companys and such use. This would show (a certain amout?) gps units in a provided place, in real time.

Not so far as I know, no. GPS receivers don’t send out any signal, they just study the places of the satellites. So it wouldn’t be feasible with just your common handheld unit.

Look into enhance mobile phones. They seem to have a similar type of feature.

TomTom has a service referred to as “Buddies”, but it requires a Bluetooth connection since GPS receivers do not send – they only get. I don’t consider it will show the places of “random” GPS receivers.

is there any type of imei tracking software or service that can track a phone down?

i just got my phone stole last night and just want to know if somebody out there know an imei tracking software or a company who does.(i did try my service provider but there useless).
