Is there a way to disable or uninstall the GPS chip that is tracking my financed car?
i purchased a automobile on financing in canada that has GPS that can actually shut off the automobile and track it wherever i go. i find this an invasion of privacy. I received a remote to enter codes (such as 999 9999 when the automobile turns off so I have 24 hours to move it..)

can i install this, anyway around this? i do not like it.

No because it is used by law enforcement to find stolen automobiles and can’t be tampered with.

V Dude down there, All GPS are used to locate stolen vehicles, and you might void any warranty by tampering with the device. That is all I am saying.

There are two huge automobile tracking companies. One of them is OnStar, then other is LoJack. LoJack is harder to determine, but if you have OnStar you will need to look for this antenna on the top.
