Question by EP: WHAT IS THE LEGALITY OF GPS TRACKING ON EMPLOYEE CELL PHONES? Hello All,
Lately I have been suspecting some of my employee’s(drivers) of lying about their place and timing. I have additional GPS tracking on their firm cell phones via Sprint/Nextel. Am I obligated to tell them that I will be tracking them? I would prefer not telling them. I significantly rather have the potential to see what type of employees they genuinely are at heart. If they’re slacking now, they’ll sooner or later slack in 1 way or another. Becoming lazy, unprofessional and irresponsible is a characteristic that cannot be removed with GPS. General, I can not trust drivers with this sort of behavior, especially with high-worth cargo. Am I legally obligated to tell my employee’s I am tracking their each and every move for the duration of function hours?

My son has been in alot of difficulty, so I set up his phones GPS tracking. So if he is with someone else that has a cell mobile phone or is in a wooded location or something can it be tracking the incorrect mobile phone. There are times exactly where I know he is house and it says that he is down the road a couple of miles. I have it set up to send info each and every ten minutes. I assume he is sneaking out at night now, the GPS says that some nights he is all more than the location, but I question this simply because simply because of the occasions when I know he is residence and it says he isn’t. So, I was questioning if it can choose up on other folks cell phones. I did have to punch in the cell phone amount to have it tracked. I am so confused. Ok then, we have two cell phone towers by our property. The evening in question, he was five various places, so, then it is more than most likely he was out with his friends. Two of the places on the map are exactly where the towers are. The other 3 are not. So does that mean he was there then?

The reason I ask is my Husband claims to be camping as we speak. But nevertheless its 30 degrees outside plus the wind is blowing about 30 miles an hour. AND all he took with him was a sleeping bag and a back pack of clothes. You see exactly where I’m going with this! I would like to know exactly where he “really” is… If everyone can support please let me know! No tent! We watched the news just before he left and he knew the climate was going to be poor, but didn’t care when I questioned it. I asked if his buddies had a text to bring, he said no. Maybe this is just his way of letting me know there’s one thing else going on without saying so. Why the lies, I’d be better off figuring out the truth. Yes, there has been a other events of him lying. We have two youngsters together and even then, this is not a good way of living.
