Question by K: What is the punishment for the person responsible for placing a gps tracking device on my car? I suspected my now ex-husband had a tracking device somewhere on my car. Towards the end of our relationship when we were separating, there were too many instances to raise my suspicions…this was over TWO YEARS AGO…I was recently informed there was STILL a tracking device on my vehicle. So I had a friend help me a few nights ago & we were able to locate it, it was hidden behind my glove box & was wired into my battery! My daughter has been telling me that her dad & grandparents get on the computer & look @ this “map thing” & talk about me, but she didn’t know what it was. I reported it w/ the police & they documented & took pictures of it & removed it from my car. What I want to know is what can I do to make sure he gets punished for Stalking me! What an invasion of privacy. He had no right.
