Ya, you can track them, I believe you can do it all on the internet. You’re going to have to see the documentation that came with the mobile phone and/or speak to you are cell telephone carrier on exactly where the site is and what info you require to track them.

if the increase program is going via verizon, then they can download the “Chaperone” plan from “Get it Now” then you can track the phone on the web via verizon for totally free. Story for these interested

My wife and I got my mother-in-law (who’s nearly 70) a Virgin Mobile prepay phone for emergencies. Even so, when she somehow managed to get lost 1 day driving around we had a insanely difficult time attempting to find out where she was when she called for aid. At this point she had pulled more than, the auto wouldn’t start and it was dark out. She didn’t know what street she was on, let alone what town she was in or precisely how she got there.

I’m hunting to uncover out if there is a Virgin Mobile (prepay) telephone that has a GPS tracking function like each Sprint & Verizon so that if my mother-in-law gets lost and calls for aid we can get to her swiftly.

I want to disable the gps. I believe I am being tracked by my parents. I noticed by turning off the Mobile Network(Verizon) it disabled it. Weeeeelll I think that that’s totally bogus that your parents are tracking you. Talk about lack of trust! And first I would go to Verizon and talk to them about the whole GPS thing. CCause maybe you arent being tracked. And if you are then talk to your parents. Be like “Mom, Dad I understand you want to know where I am and stuff but don’t you think using a GPS is a little extreme? I mean you could always call or text…Right?” And then go to verizon and ask them how to turn it off. Cause im pretty sure there isn’t like a system fail hack…Good Luck!

Actually almost all new cell phones have the GPS capability. In order for her mom to be able to track her she would have to pay for the service. If her mom pays the bill and is the primary contact, it is highly possible. If your friend pays her own bills and her mom doesn’t have access, then her mom can not track her.
