The item I ordered was the 1601 w/magnet base. The specific GPS locator I am employing is a Zoombak Universal locator, and it fits nicely in this Otterbox. I would Extremely suggest this merchandise to any individual needing a very good water tight box for their GPS devise and have issues about it falling off your auto in rough (bumpy) road problems. The magnet is absolutely sturdy adequate to place this item with out any worry of the box falling off in rough road situations, and there is a ring gasket about the lip of the box creating it water tight. The situation is clear plastic which you can see in the photos, but the photographs do not do justice to the top quality of this product. It was a little loose in the box, so I additional 1 small sheet of bubble wrap in the lid side, and that did the trick. The plastic is extremely thick and sturdy with a tough large quality hinge and clasp.
