Hi! I was watching Opra and they mentioned it was a good idea to install a GPS tracking device under your mans automobile to see if he was cheating. WOW! I think that is pretty cool. But how do they work and cost? Has anyone used it before? Did it work? Is it legal in Illinois? I do not know if I would use one I am an old fashion kind of gal, I would just follow him in my automobile and run him over if he is. LOL

I recently bought a used automobile that has a gps tracking and disable device wired into it from the previous owner. I would like to remove it or disable it since I do not want someone to be able to gain contro of the car.

AFter waiting weeks for mine to arrive and paying nearly $300, I cannot get GEMINI (who sells gps tracking phones through many sites, like childsafetytech.com) to even call me back about either replacing the broken phone delivered to me, or giving me a refund.
They stated they have never “heard” of the product arriving broken to a customer and will have to “look into it” before they tell me anything: meanwhile I am out nearly $300 and I got this for my youngest daughter. SInce kids are being abducted, this was a peace of mind for us.
Anyone have any ideas on how to get this company’s LACK of support out to other parents who are getting suckered?

I’m looking for a normal GPS like TomTom or what have you, but I want to know if any of them can also track the automobile that it’s in and provide data like location, speed, etc.
