The item I ordered was the 1601 w/magnet base. The specific GPS locator I am employing is a Zoombak Universal locator, and it fits nicely in this Otterbox. Have a single in my auto (although I don’t feel it’s tied into the engine… it may possibly be… idk). Doesn’t cost that a lot and they recover the automobile (on common) 15 minutes after being notified.
