they have to be placed someplace that they can “see the sky”, they have to be placed in which there is electrical power…

GMC has a device known as OnStar, that is an antenna on the roof. OnStar utilizes GPS and cell phones, so seem for the antenna.

Boy, have you got the wrong idea of how this operates!

GPS doesn’t track cars or anything else.

GPS satellites send out a signal which your GPS receiver then receives. Considering that the satellites know exactly where they are in space at any time, the receiver can calculate its position relative to the position of the satellites.

This report is surely not about “Massive Brother” Whilst the FBI might be religious profiling or racial profiling distinct folks, they don’t have the resources to put a GPS on every single car in America, OR track every single vehicle in America, its just not feasible. This post fundamentally states that the FBI as a government entity has the appropriate to track everyone in America’s movements. As a matter of national security. This all rolls back onto 9/11 and the anti-muslim sentiment we have had considering that Al-Qaida’s terrorist attack on the US.
Even though profiling of muslims I do not agree with, National security I do. But asking when the GPS is going to be activated on all the cars in America, is like asking when Mary Poppins is going to babysit your kids subsequent.
