I am not confident if I am understanding your query correctly, but are you trying to track where your automobile is from your home personal computer? This is not how the GPS receiver in your vehicle performs. In your automobile, the gadget only receives signals from satellites, which it uses to decide its position. There are pc programs that can do the same factor with an connected receiver. For example, if your automobile does not have GPS, you can carry all around your laptop and a GPS receiver and map your place.

I am going to let you in on a small secret, your cell cellphone has a tracking device in it. The government has satellites in area that can study the brand of cigarettes you smoke and the government has listening devices that can hear your conversations via your walls in your home. As far as I am mindful, you can only do that if you are paying for the account the telephone is on, in which case you will need to make contact with your provider. It can also be completed in particular law enforcement circumstances, with correct warrants.

Hi, my friend is going through a bitter divorce. We’re pretty sure her ex-husband was tracking her location via GPS on their Sprint business cell phone account. Does anyone know anything about this? If so, can you possibly help us find proof that this has occurred. We have searched the bills but don’t see anything glaringly obvious.

There is no such thing as a GPS chip you can add to any cell phone to track it.

If it’s a smart phone with GPS built in you could install an application on the phone to track it. The owner of the phone could always disable or remove that application.

Failing that you can still track most phones but with lower accuracy, exactly how go about doing this depends on the network the phone is on. Normally tracking a phone in this way automatically triggers a text message being set to the phone every few days stating that it is being tracked.

However unless you are the one paying the bill for that phone tracking it is an invasion of privacy, immoral and in most places illegal.
