Q&A: Phone Tracking

Question by joelj27: Stolen Blackberry Bold 9000 mobile phone tracking? BACKGROUND Effectively I had a Blackberry Bold 9000 laying close to given that I got an iPhone.(cause blackberry information plans price a lot) And my very good-friend asked to borrow the telephone for awhile.I thought about it and finally decided to let him borrow it. Following a month, I ask for my blackberry back, and it turns out that my excellent friend traded it to a single of my ok-close friends for an x-box. So then I ask my ok-friend for the telephone, and he claims that somebody has stolen it.(I believe someone stole it, or he’s lying to preserve the telephone) Given that somebody stole the phone, he mentioned he will give me the x-box, but i rather favor the mobile phone because it cost me way far more than a low cost x-box.

As of right now I know, my ok-friend has canceled his old mobile phone amount and got a new telephone with the identical range as before.

QUESTION / Scenario My blackberry bold had GPS capabilities, but I never ever set it up cause it cost as well a lot. I was wondering if I could somehow track the mobile phone via GPS and AT&T even although I didn’t set up the GPS, and there’s no functioning sim card in the phone. If so how, and how a lot would it price? If not, do you have any other ideas for discovering the phone?
