GPS tracking?
My boss gave us new cell phones. How can we inform if the phones have GPS tracking? If it does have GPS tracking can it pinpoint our exact place.

Properly it actually depends on the telephone, but the only points I can say to actually assist you are:
1. I believe cell phones do not automatically come with gps tracking, but it is a characteristic you have to buy/pay for.
2. If you want to find out if it has gps tracking, then you can-
A. ask your boss who bought the phones
B. appear up your phones characteristics and capabilities
C. call the service provider and ask them
three. I don’t think gps tracking is employed to track individuals but rather to just get directions…. the only telephone that I know that can track exactly where individuals are is the disney telephone and that was just in a commercial I saw that boasted that characteristic.
four. Assuming some how your telephone has the characteristic to track exactly where people are, I guess it could track exactly where they are but I believe it just shows you their position on a map and possibly an address.

Just about each and every cell mobile phone now has GPS capabilities. So if you were just given them, then most most likely they are GPS enabled.
Discerning the location depends although. Ive observed some GPS that can locate inside a general area, and other people that can locate what street corner you are on, so I can’t answer that portion of the question. sorry.

1. most phones do have GPS now.
two. I agree, asking the boss or searching it up will 100% answer if it has it
three. Most companies with GPS enabled phones do use uit to track places of employees that might not be where they need to be. I know this due to the fact a close buddy of mine is really the person being paid by his business to search up where individuals are.
4. And yes, it just shows your location in the location, not necessarily what creating you are in(assuming you are in a city)
