Automobile GPS Tracking device?
We recently had an ATV and Side by Side stolen from our cattle ranch. We really utilized those automobiles to get around the ranch and upkeep the ranch. I want a real time tracking device that is reasonably priced and operates in the middle of nowhere. I’ve heard about cell telephone tracking but does the phone require to be on and charged?
What are very good brands of GPS devices and exactly where can I acquire some?

We use to run GPS tracking through Nextel cell phones in our fleet of trucks. Yes, they did will need to be turned on and if they were low on charge they had a tendency to loose track. Another issue to think about with this technique is that it was an added service to have activated to do the tracking by phone. Also, if they did not have a clear view of the sky they would loose track so it wouldn’t be a very good idea to try and conceal 1 on a car and get any reliable final results. The finest thing to do though not the cheapest would be to get a challenging mounted GPS unit that is created for this kind of circumstance.

WE ALSO USE NEXTEL GPS FOR OUR Autos AND YES THEY HAVE TO BE ON.
