newly divorced. x-spouse tracking car using onstar gps. or some other device. how do you turn off the gps unit without affecting other systems on the car i can not put car in storage until on-star sub expires. do not want to be tracked by x

Now why would an ex wife want to track you? The marriage is over. What reason would she have to track you if the divorce is finalized? How do you know you are being tracked at all? Call the police and say that she is stalking you and you want this stopped
But anyway, contact On-Star and see if you can have the signal changed or just cancel the subscription. I think that you can change a password so she cant track you.
I have On-Star on my car and i didnt even know i could track my car unless i called On-Start directly, so by changing the password to access your account, then that should should do the trick.

If the OnStar account is your name, call them, explain your situation and change your password. If the ex put some other GPS on the vehicle, you’ll have to locate that device and disable it.

Pull the onstar fuse,,, left end of dash. no more onstar!
