PARENTS use gps tech to track their kids?
recently, parents have been using GPS technology to track their kids. NO kidding, it’s true, like this one dood or dad put a gps tracking device on his daughter’s car and checked wherever she went such as a party. But one time this teenager said she’ll be going to her friend’s house to sleepover but she actually went to a night club and got killed after midnight. that teen couldn’t have died if the parents had a gps tracking device on her car so they could pick her up or something. So do you think parents should be allowed to put gps tracking devices on their kids?

As long as my child lives in my home, I will do everything I can to protect her best interests, even if it means a GPS, reading her diary, etc. i know that some will disagree w/ me; but most children/ teens doesn’t have enough maturity to make major decisions w/o adult intervention.

absolutely… this is why some cell phone company’s offer this . and my child’s car will definitely have gps on it… i look back at what i did at 16 and if things just get worse over time i am terrified of what my child might put them self at risk with .

this question is more abt human rights. My opinion is yes. parents do worry abt their children and they want to know where we stay what we do etc. good old days they had a mobile to track their kids where they are. who knows by the time goes this new GPS thing will come to the market. i find no harm doing so. but it doesn’t mean that parents are getting too personal in to your life. may be after you marry they’ll remove the device from you…

The Law is very specific about this, their house their rules.
