I have a Garmin 670. Can i track the car that uses it to find the location.?
I want to let my friend borrow it so he can track his wifes location. He thinks she might be cheating. I figure we can put the GPS under the seat or something and track her car whereabouts. I need to know if this could be done.

Because of how long it would have to stay in the car, you don’t know when the next time she will visit her friend, you would have to hook it up to a cigarette lighter for power. Then every time you start the car, the GPS would reboot. You’d have to have constant power to the GPS.
I thought about that when My ex was cheating on me but I decided to go another route in catching her. At Radio Shack, they sell a device that is placed onto a phone line and it hooks to a shoebox style tape recorder. Every time the phone is picked up, it starts recording. I spliced some telephone wires in the attic and made a telephone outlet up there and hid it under the insulation. I hooked up a caller ID to it and the tape recorder. I caught her within 3 days. I used that information to get more evidence and then divorced her.
The set up cost me $100. The divorce cost me $1,600 and I’m now paying child support of $430 a month. So ask your friend if he really wants to know if his wife is cheating.
