I bought this GPS as a Christmas gift to myself and have been very happy with it. It has directed me to my destination several times with no problems. It was very easy to figure out, I didn’t even use the directions. I was a little leary with this being a refurbished item and after reading some of the other reviews, but it has been great for me. This is my first GPS and I hope to have it for a long time and if I do ever need to get another one I would get another Tom Tom!

In an age of “do everything” machines this one is dedicated to one thing. Getting you from where you are to where you need to be. This was not my first GPS so the learning curve was easy. IMHO the 4.3″ screen makes a HUGE difference! It increases the viewable route by almost 40%. While It is NOT suppost to have voice to text mine talks to me, a wonderful addition!
All in all I rate the value, what you get for what you pay Excellent, < $100.00 and all these features can not be beat.
Downside:I was not crazy about the mounting, I’m not sure it interfaces with a computer, but if it does you need to be a systems analyst.

This is a great Gps. I use it almost every day for work. It is easy to use and read. I love how it has the wide screen. I would recommend this to any one that is looking for a gps to use, and on top of that it was inexpensive to get. I checked everywhere else and they were selling this one for almost a hundred dollars more.

I started out with the right product, but in switching back from the shopping cart to product review I was able to change the product without being aware. I ended up with the non-street-voice product. Although it was totally my fault I was disappointed. Also when I connected the product to my PC I was unable to update the map to the latest version of maps.
