Is there a Virgin Mobile (Prepay) phone with GPS tracking?
{Story for those interested}
My wife and I got my mother-in-law (who’s almost 70) a Virgin Mobile prepay phone for emergencies. However, when she somehow managed to get lost one day driving around we had a insanely difficult time trying to find out where she was when she called for help. At this point she had pulled over, the car wouldn’t start and it was dark out. She didn’t know what street she was on, let alone what town she was in or exactly how she got there.
{end of story}
I’m looking to find out if there is a Virgin Mobile (prepay) phone that has a GPS tracking function like both Sprint & Verizon so that if my mother-in-law gets lost and calls for help we can get to her quickly.

Hi there,
I work for Virgin Mobile and they actually do have two GPS/location services – currently available on the LG Rumor2 (virginmobileusa.com/cell-phones#/detail-phone/VML265): Virgin Mobile Navigator and Google Maps.
With Navigator, you can find addresses, intersections and points of interest, you can get spoken turn-by-turn directions, and up-to-the-minute weather info, movie times, and gas prices (virginmobileusa.com/mobile-features/navigator-mobile.html). Navigator costs $2.99 per day, charged only on the days you use it. Or, you can get a monthly subscription for just $9.99/month. Here’s a video we created to demo the application: youtube.com/watch?v=uhQT3bNyxvU.
Google Maps gives you directions, real-time traffic updates, business listings, and street views (virginmobileusa.com/mobile-features/google-maps-mobile.html). Google Maps is free to use, you just need a data pack. Along with the Rumor2, Google Maps is also available on the Slash and the Super Slice, however they are no longer being sold online.
