How can i tell if she put a tracking device on my phone

if she did how can i make it go away

does stand alone mode help
and i have Verizon ( the 2nd chocolate)

Please HELP even if it is temporally

My company provides me with a Palm Pre phone. I have seen promotions by Sprint for software that tracks the phone holder very closely by location. I keep the GPS function on my phone disabled, but does that tracking software work even if the GPS is turned off?
