My new samsung eternity was stolen and I already deactivated the account from at&t. If the jerk who stole it switched the sim card, would the number remain the same. Also, does anyone know a way that i could track its GPS??

I own a small vehicle rental service in India, does GPS system help me in tracking my vehicles each minute? I ordered this product along with the batteries only to get an e-mail a day later saying my ordered had been cancelled for no apparent reason. I then had to call and have the separate battery ordered cancelled as well, why was there two orders, I dont know. Anyway that was the first time and maybe last time I order from Amazon! Oh yes, I got the product from someone else, so far so good!

Pros:
Small
Uses standard AAA batteries
Batteries last for a while
Cons:
My main gripe is that the downloaded data is in a .las format which even GPSBabel cannot interpret. This makes automatic geotagging of photos impossible.
No on/off switch – you have to remove the batteries (which results in losing the small screws occasionally)
Linux is not supported.

This product is really worth its price.. its so accurate and shows the exact path on google earth.. its also very small and can be hidden almost any were on a car.. the magnet is strong enough to probably mount it on a rally car and it wont fall off

I read about every GPS logger on Amazon and was hoping this was the right one.
Problems that caused me to return it:
-Despite some claims that the batteries lasts 3 weeks, mine lasted 2 days before the red battery light went on
-Very difficult to get a satellite lock, at least in NYC. I went on top of a building and was able to get a lock. After this, I walked several miles and downloaded the data. It jumped around way too much and was missing lots of data as well
-Device packaging is low quality. The screw holes are little wings of plastic that come somewhat broken. Not great considering you have to take the batteries out anytime you want to turn it off and the battery life is bad
-Software is for Windows only
-I called customer support and they weren’t very helpful. Suggested pretty quickly that I might need to return the device to the seller if I’m not getting a sat lock.

This product does amazing things. I wasn’t sure how well it would work but it does do what it claims and more. At first I only thought that it just gave a reveiw of where the car went. Then I started playing with the top icons. It really shows every thing. Where car went, how long it stopped, and the complete route the car took showing every street the car drives on. It is amazing.
