MY GIRLFRIENDS EMPLOYER INSTALLED A GPS TRACKING DEVICE INTO HER PERSONAL VEHICLE.?
She does get a monthly automobile allowance. But she does not get reimbursed for her mileage or fuel costs. My question is that since there is no way to turn off the device, is this legal? Her boss is capable of tracking her moves on her days off. This just seems like an invasion of her privacy.

If it is a business vehicle, it is legit. Even if the boss used that device on her vehicle during work hours it is understandable. But if the boss has that tracking her down at all times it is invasion of privacy. Have her mention something in a polite way to the boss. depends on what state your in some states its legal but most states it has to be the owners idea to install the device. there’s always a way to turn the device off no matter what.
