Is there any tracking devices small enough to attach onto or into your iPod and any other items like keys etc?
I know you can track automobiles on GPS but is there such a thing that grants you to pinpoint the exact location of a small item?

Ok, i have a nokia n73 (s60v3) phone and i want to enable tracking on it in case it gets stollen. I heard it can be tracked by gsm cell id and i know already some cells id from home but that wont help cuz the thief can go in a cell i do not recognize.
Can anyone tell me a free service for tracking a cell phone thru cells id in Romania ? or an substitute ?
had a program that sends the thief phone no. and cell id to a predefined no. but it useless because it wont begin with the phone and i cannot just call the thief and ask him to return the phone.
I heard about a service in UK that can track a phone by no. thru GoogleMaps. Something like that but in other countries and free / low cost anyone ?

yes i did have a dedicated soft on it to locate the cell id where the phone is (actually i am using a software to change my profiles according to my location based on cell id too) and send that info to a predefined phone no. in case the phone got stollen. it sends many other info but the location is interesting. but i ain’t a personal to know all the cells on my network so if it sends me for ex. cell id no. 23222 i would not know where to look. got any ideea?

I’ve gone to the police because this person is missing, but because he is an adult, there is nothing they will do at this time. I have reason to believe he is going to injured himself and its very important I find him asap.
